So I’ve been really lax lately, and my weight has been all over the map. But I’ve got a renewed focus. Today’s madness is a modified (easier) version of the Feb 1, 2012 crossfit.com WOD.
- For time:
- 30 pushups (Rx=30 handstand pushups)
- 30 pullups @ 70# assist (Rx=40 pullups, no assist)
- 50 dumbbell swings @ 20# (Rx=1.5 pood kettlebell)
- 60 situps
- 70 burpees
My time was 19:39.66. I mistakenly thought that 1 pood was 20#, so I figured at 20# I was doing alright — little did I know that 1 pood is actually 36#, so I was way off on that one. I could have pushed out more pullups but I didn’t want to strain the shoulder, but I did max out at 30 (actually 32ish), which I was happy with, without any rest.
Looking at the comments at crossfit.com, I am absolutely amazed that people are pulling this, as Rx’d, in 10 minutes. Crickey.
